he sailed to sea
when she died
out to wash
away
the memory
of his world
his grounding
so out to sea
he escaped
his grounding

no words can escape this

longing of confusion

needing just one thing

so simple

yet so disillusioned

the closeness of the void

everlasting, ever leaving

you say it's snack time

while it is nap time

for my worries

need to be put to rest

13 October 2009

oddness in leaving

one life to return to another

paused for another pause.

the flutter of your wings

startles most

as i lean against

this surface of being

i feel the breeze of

existence

and can't help

but wonder where

your flight will take you

mates of the soul.

cliche metaphor of a
butterfly
found in the
lightness
of a soul
never needing
space
in an imaginary
time and place
last year
light viewed
essence melted
rawness of
a young girl
thoughts and
wanders
exchanged
in this timeless
jar of memories
